One of the huge misconceptions around Urdu Poetry is that it is largely centered around the conversations between lover and the beloved. Urdu Poetry or the rendered form of Ghazals actually are not just romantic. Some of the best inteallctual conversations are covered in fineese of Urdu words and expressions. Chiragh-e-Toor : According Judaistic/Islamic traditions great prophet Mosses met with God on the Mount Senai (which in Islam is refereed as Koh-e-Toor. As God showed himself to Mosses as a flash of light so this incident in the history of Urdu, Persian and Arabic literature has been metaphorically called "Chiragh-e-Toor means the Lamp of Senai to mean divine guidance.
Niqaab: The veil, means the veil between the man and the Almighty the veil behind which God is.

khurshid Aasteeno mein : The sun hidden in their sleeves, means the ones who had the divine light emanating from their sleeves (hands).Â
